I love to hear contrary views. In fact some of the thread posters have convinced me to do all sorts of things, like sell my Cisco and repurchase at lower prices and awhile ago (early '99) to purchase Nortel for their optical prowess. So I don't mind contrary views. I do mind insults designed to denigrate.

There is no need to be insulting just like the fellow that was removed from SI. It is counter productive to call people "mindless" as you are doing. Just share views about stocks and the market in general please, and we will all benefit. It is time to try and elevate the tone of the discussion on this thread. Bears and bulls should always be welcome, but insults should no longer be tolerated. Jeff

Easily the funniest post on SI in months...NYC BOY came both here and on loads of other threads when the Nasdaq hit 1600 saying "told ya so, see ya at 1000!!", in his most obnoxious way...if this is what constitutes brilliant and prophetic, I would had to see you define an idiot...Puffy was almost always wrong and had attitude about it whenever someone dared to question a call...if you had done what Puffy suggested you do at 1600, you would have gotten hammered...time and time again, this guy, who incidentally calls himself a hedge fund manager?!, has been dead wrong!
