Gardening is alot of work so if you don't like to grow things there's no reason to do it. We have a long hot growing season here in Ca. so everything grows well. Tomato plants will turn into trees here if you don't prune them!

When I bought the eggplants and decided to grow them I was interested in how they grew and bore their fruit. They were quite an interesting plant because the fruits grew from the stalk. Brussel sprouts are the only other vegetable I know that grows like that. The plants were so prolific I had to tie them to a stake for support. Each plant gave me 15 to 20 or more eggplants so I gave many away to friends.

How do you cook your eggplant?
