Kaka, I agree DELL is a great CC vehicle right now in this trading range. It isn't going to crash and burn from this point, nor is it in danger of shooting to the moon.

I have in the past sometimes done the same thing with writing puts on short positions, since the put premiums are generally pretty healthy these days. A more aggressive variation of the same play for "rangebound" stocks is to write both calls and puts - this obviously goes awry is there's a break-out in either direction.

Kaka
Did you buy back the calls at the 1/2 to 5/8?
I assume that you had APR or MAY 25s, 27.50s or 30s.
Any of these were out there in the last week to 10 days for a sell of 1.25 to 1.875 and a buy back of about .375 to .75.
Take the cash!
Remember "don't be greedy" .75 to 1.00 per share cash in a week ain't bad!
Also remember "Know your exits" - before you go in.
I **** always **** put the buy-back order in as soon as fill is reported on the sell.
