I am sorry for a slight inaccuracy. Prior to Powell's appointment, he made a lot of money speaking. The Washington Post reported, about a decade ago, that Will was the highest paid speaker in the land, at $200k a pop. I imagine he makes even more now. Bennet was cited a few years ago as making about $200k per speech, but I cannot remember where. Powell, well, I also cannot remember where I may have heard it. I will see if I can verify sometime for these guys or similar speakers......
