Hi Karen I am not one who believes that we are capable of coming to an accurate knowledge of God through unaided reason alone. See previous post. I do however believe that God has revealed Himself sufficiently to leave us without excuse to deny Him. This revelation through the Created order of the universe and the conscience of each individual regarding morality, is called General Revelation by Theologians. It's nice for you to come to X's defense. I think you have demonstrated my point however by your example of Love. Love cannot be explained rationally from the standpoint of Materialism, and yet we Love. Ultimate Morality, and even personality are in the same boat, actually so are the Laws of Reason itself. Yet we continue to operate as if they are true. Why? A personal moral reasoning Creator is far more "reasonable" than any other explanation I have heard. Got to run It's pizza pan day. Greg
