>>1. Gore won the popular vote by at least 500,000.

Irrelevant.

>The Miami Herald study in Florida showed that depending on the counting methodology, either result could be justified in Florida.

Wrong. Because under the "Gore by 3 votes" scenario you would have to go back to the four Dem counties and remove the thousands of votes that Gore gained under the looser standard.

The Herald didn't mention that.

So Gore lost under any scheme if it were consistently applied as the Supremes said it must be.

Scummy, The popular vote does not, and never has, elected the President of the United States. If it did, JFK would not have been President. Also, your half million vote quote has already been debunked.

Every single way that Gore wanted to count votes showed Bush the winner. You dems are now conjuring up ways to count them that Gore did not consider and that even the pathetic FL Supreme Court did not invent.

Because he really DID NOT WANT to "count all the votes".

It's ok to be a dem, but dumb is not good. Unfortunately they go hand in hand too often. Everybody seems to be calling everyone names today (including you). I think a good one for you is Dumbria.
