What you are saying is truth and what has occurred is many people are employed in my area and are not doing an excellent job. So when you have a less tight job market you do have more options as an employer to get more bang for the buck. The balance point is where? So now i appear as cold and i am not. The thought becomes educate to do something else that creates an income. The difficulty is that due to the location of mines you can have whole community with the same problem and an exodus of the younger out of the area. The people that leave rarely come back to the community to start a business so it constant circle with no easy answer. You and I donating isn't going to do a thing but maybe we should consider tax incentives for business to relocate into areas that are depressed.
