Gene - great call yesterday! SONS, BEAS, PMCS, and several other favorites are up 25% or more today. SONS is +40%. How nuts is that?

I'm not following closely enuff now, but three companies that might be close to your criteria are JDSU, JNPR and BRCD. I don't think you need look for any surprises. We have a pretty good idea who most of the great emerging companies are gonna be, now. Much of the experimentation is now over; the real work of stringing strong quarters, consistantly, is now the key. Maybe these guys aren't quite as strong as you're looking for, but I think they'll be hard to beat. Market cap wise, they're down enormously, and have proven success stories.

BTW, re: Buffett - for years we talked about how he pulled out of the market entirely, in the early 70's and sat it out for a while. We discussed this for years. Yet when the time came, I couldn't do it. Actually, I did do it, sold out in early 2000, but I couldn't stay away. This is where the genius was. Being able to go away for a year. I could never have done it.

All the best,
Tom
