<Welch is an extremely smart man. No wonder he backed Bush.>

Welch is an extremely RICH man. That is why he backed Bush.

<Clinton came in during a boom and left a mess - the Clinton Bear Market and economic decline.>

What a joke. The economy and the rest of the world did well under Clinton. I'm not blaming anything on Busy (yet), but to say Clinton left a mess is ridiculous. I suppose you think the "boom" that Clinton inherited was from Bush Sr? Riiiight.

GE's Jack Welch went public and announced that he called Greenspan and told Greenspan in October 2000 that the economy was in recession.

Maybe Welch has his own parameters for a recession but according to the standard definition of a recession, we were not in a recession in Oct. and we were not in one last month.

Welch is an extremely smart man. No wonder he backed Bush.

Even smart men make mistakes.

Clinton came in during a boom and left a mess - the Clinton Bear Market and economic decline. Bush has to deal with what he inherited.

Really? Where do you get your info from......Rush?
