Good points. Especially on the term limits. Shallow politicans may be discouraged from running, because it's not a lifelong career. Dedicated ones will realize that their time at the helm is limited, and possibly use it as effectively as possible. The sport analogy (EVERYTHING has a sport analogy) is the athlete who knows he/she has a limited time to 'make their mark'.
