I hope for better employment numbers but we know that they wont be coming now. So if the numbers show weakness as expected or slightly more, and we get another rate cut it gives us a better chance to get out of this cycle sooner. As for earinings, cisco who also reports next month will be a key.

The news on earnings this quarter is out. The conference calls will address the rest of the year. There is plenty of room for more bad news and NASDAQ 1200-1500. Real good news, as opposed to Dell confirming their ability to meet a 5 week forecast, will move us to 2500-3000.
