Michael,

These Chinese leaders are idiots

Then Bush should be able to communicate at that their level quite well. (Assuming he beefs up his English skills a little.)

Mike, so what goes on in china?

Since most talking heads I hear on the news don't know the difference between a dimple and a sharp stick in the eye and they all are tens times as smart as many of the vacant liberal minds I see post on this thread I ask, So what goes on in china?

China has it's share of retards and reasonable. Now the old school stalin types are into power and have patience. In is in their interest to quash more contact with America as that Contact is contaminating of their ends.
The power of impoverishment and control and making decision for folks is their way. Capitalism is self reliance.

Then there are those who are capitalist and want to advance relationships with the US and see that is the future of China. But who is in charge in China?

So it seems in that we have all the talking heads making such a big deal about what's going on and saying well if it's not resolved by whenever then whatever.

SO I see China playing a chicken game and this is a win win for the stalinists. If this becomes a crisis then economic progress that brings freedom is delayed.

Why delay. Well democrat presidents can be bought and bullied. The fundamental corruption of the democrats in accepting bribes to elect officials is likely. So create a crisis that damages the US economy and get the dems in power in 2002 to further screw up the country and in 2004 China can have their very own democrat president.

I hear all this about China want business and China wants the olympics.
Does anyone really know who is in charge in china and what that person want's. To me it's just dump people ascribing the motivations of Americans to the Chinese.

Americans don't understand that China is run by democrat socialism and not Republican capitalism.

A no-win situation, but with many losing possibilities.

I am taking credit for today's market. My capitulation signaled the bottom. Also, I sold my Dell a while back. If I had kept Dell, they would have guided down terribly :)
