I did. Take forward earnings for all the stocks I mentioned and cut them by another 20% and then look at the P/Es. Frankly, I have only looked at about 10 of the semis but they all have low PEs. That isn't true for the darling fat pig telecomm infrastructure plays.

OK, but to get a valid comparison you have to do that for other tech stocks as well. Reduction in earnings estimates is not a phenomenon exclusive to the semi sector.
