Hitler was a fascist. Fascism is a state where labor and business work together, for the 'good of the state'. Private property ownership continues, as does capitalism, but under tight government regulations. Only one party is allowed, and the state is totalitarian.

Which is why on the political scale fascist is set to the right. An extreme version of conservatism.

Stalin was a monster, maybe more so than Hitler because of the length of his reign of terror. Also, there is less information about how many he killed in the gulags and purges. How is he above reproach?
