What do I mean by ``deserve''? As money flows out of both technology stocks and many Old Economy issues, it has been flowing into companies with three time-honored qualities: low valuation, strong market position and solid management with a proven track record. Sounds old-fashioned, I know, but the evidence is striking. Isn't the PC industry in the dumpster? Well, look at Dell Computer (NASDAQ:DELL - news), up nearly 44% this year, or Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT - news), up around 28%. As Monica Rivituso pointed out on Thursday, these technology blue chips simply got too cheap to resist early this year.
