Downgrading at or near the bottom (after the fact) has been the cowardly vogue lately until the past few days. The upgrades are beginning now and they do have an effect. DELL, YHOO, LOR - it's starting - those courageous souls who dare to state the obvious, that YHOO at 250 was ridiculous but at 13 it's a steal. Or that many beaten down micros have more cash than their market caps.

If it's safe for bullish analysts to upgrade now expect dozens of them, if not hundreds until we're 20-40% higher. "At these prices we feel the downside is limited and this prsents an excellent loingterm buying opportunity". blah blah blah That can push an INTC from 23 to 35 very quickly.

If there are anymore tech warnings or downgrades you might consider buying into that news. Because they could be amongst the last downward spikes. Things can change very suddenly, remember. They did in November 50% ago. They can again. Maybe they just did in the past few days. Recovery happens. Life is not all bad news. And even the worst news gets priced in fast, more than priced in in fact.
