Adam, my impression is Microsoft is having a tougher time holding on to talent then Intel is. But, perhaps Intel has more faith their stock will climb back then Microsoft does. We'll just have to wait and see...

I imagine these type of strategic decisions are very difficult to make. Balancing the needs of employees, with the needs of every stake-holders is a tough science.

Hi Adam,

But you can't look at one slice, when measuring the total. There are tradeoffs. One might favor stock, but the other one might favor 401k and base.

Also, any stock play requires around the clock work. That's another tradeoff too.
