Too big of a move, good news is out, (the ol' sell the news gig) partial sector hedge against an enterprise software long position. All they did was reaffirm the increase in eps. The weird part was the reaffirmation was a few days ago. So really sell the stale news.

From what little I know about BEAS, it appears to be a solid outfit for the long term. I have a little thesis, though, and it goes like this: high-ticket software has a long sales cycle, can be booked well in advance of delivery and revenue recognition, thus quarters can be made by getting booked orders installed... but future quarters can get a little dicier in a prolonged macro slowdown. Just a theory, you're welcome to debunk, but I think if you look through the grains of salt, you'll see some grains of truth here w/r/t BEAS and getting deferred revenue booked into income this Q.

P.S. If BEAS breaks thru near-term resistance at 30ish, I'll be stopped out on that one. If it does, I'll sell a little ORCL, assuming it is MOL in tandem.
