When do you think LU will generate consistent positive cash flow from operations (as opposed to asset sales)? They sell the semi biz, F.O. components biz, the other stuff already gone, and whaddya got: legacy phone switches, a behind-the-curve product offering in F.O. systems with future gee-whiz products not ready for prime time, a wireless infra business that except for VZ is going nada unless they pull off a miracle with CHU, and a bunch of tempermental scientists (many of the good ones who can play well with others are apparently long gone) who want to be left alone to tinker in Bell Labs, but are probably pissed as hell about their retirement and stock option accounts. Oh, and still a ton of debt in terms of the likely ability to service same from remaining ops.

What is your purpose? Regardless of what you are saying? There are threads and posters that say, This is what will happen or things to 'watch for'. You only sell at te high or buy at the low after the fact....... Call one 'ahead' instead of a I saw it coming as is usual. Blaaah.......blaahhhh............ What does tommorrow bring? Not hard to figure at all......profit-taking. Your call? But it is just a dip. Buy. Buy more. Why? Because there are sluts out there saying, "Buy". Walllll Awwwwright! Buy some more. lee PS: Opinions voiced here haave nothing to do with the thread. I just just took exception with a thread maggot that wasn't believed on another thread dragging that weak-a$$ed stuff over here. PPS: Of course, I realize that this person will have sold at the high.....and bought at the low. Just one of those things that happen.....after the fact. Just another hindsight trader.....as unAmerican as that may seem...... PPPS: My position is posted....if not every individual trade. The sentiment is there.....
