I don't have the jam tonight to finish and post the NASDAQ chart with the all time up days overlayed, but what strikes me immediately is that 9 of the top 22 (41%) were between the middle of October/00 and the beginning of Jan/01. That's a completely whacky anomaly historically. The bulls fought very hard back then. In the decline from the beginning of January until now we had none -- until today. What relentless down we have had. In NASDAQ terms it is unprecedented. Since rolling off the January 31 top we have had the mother of NASDAQ down legs.
