Intel publishes errata on all their chips. They do it so their customers can be developing systems with pre-released chips by using workarounds...gets product to market faster for the OEMs. Does Sun even publish errata?

My point in the other post is that every percent of performance is precious. All microprocessors have errata, or bugs, it's just that it's considered a bad resort to have to degrade performance in fixing one.
