Hi ahhaha; My expectation (fear) is that the bear market isn't over until the NYSE and Nasdaq volume indicators return to some sort of reasonable amount.

Volume is already substantially down, but I have no idea where it is likely to turn. Here's a short (4 year?) chart of Naz or NYSE volume:

My feeling is that the compression in volatility at the bottoms of bear markets is due to fundamental investors. Momentum traders tend to provide positive feedback to the market, while fundamental types (which we haven't seen since 1987, likely), provide negative feedback.
