Flying spy planes in China?? 150 miles off the Chinese coast does not constitute Chinese territory ...constitutes International waters...thats the difference here...all the world recognizes this, but China themselves...

At least the plane wasn't shot down...that would have been an even bigger boneheaded move...

Lets see what negotiations bring before the big sticks get put into play...

A peaceful ending would be so easy, If there wasn't such stubborness to cling onto old ways..

What does China have to gain from holding hostages???

The plane was gathering intelligence on the pirate shippers in those shipping ports...nothing else...Geesh..........

<<<How do you think we would react if we started to see spy planes
flying around the U.S. borders? >>>

Soviets used to do it all the time. Would not be surprised if it was still going on.

Spying is a two way street Dave..... Even Israel spies on the US to some extent, and that is extremely embarrassing considering all of the solid support we have given them over many decades. And rest assured that the mainland Chinese government and military spy on us and try to steal our technology every chance they can get.
As for our spitting on the Kyoto Accord, good for us rejecting an accord which would still allow many other countries to pollute excessively. It is high time that we wise up on these extremely important issues and not place ourselves behind the 8 ball.

I really hate to have to be the one to burst your bubble,
Dave, but the US spies and has been spied on since the
American Revolution.

Why do you think many wise thinking Americans want to kick
the UN out of NY? It's nothing but a hot bed of spies, who
are permitted to walk around openly almost any where they
want to go, with diplomatic immunity.

When the James Bond movies were popular, what was his job description?
