Buddha said life is suffering.And the root of all
suffering is desire.But anal fissures can play a
big part also...

dharma="the eternal truths and cosmic law-orderliness discovered by the Buddha"

Four Holy Truths: 1. life involves suffering; 2. suffering comes from craving; 3. suffering can be destroyed by achieving nirvana; 4. following the eight-fold path leads to cessation of suffering.

dukkha=suffering; all things unpleasant (due to spiritual ignorance, not sin).

nirvana="extinction"; cessation of dukkha.

Eight-fold Path leading to cessation of dukkha: 1. right view or understanding; 2. right directed thought; 3. right speech; 4. right action; 5. right livelihood; 6. right effort; 7. right mindfulness; 8. right concentration.

-- you boil it down to change is caused by desire? You are not trying to persuade readers to the merits of your opinions through public debate. I can only surmise that you hold your own opinions in such low regard that you won't event discuss them in public. Your only intent is to inflict your own sense of low regard on others.

I believe that is step one for the Buddhist Dr applying his methodology on your public discourse.

1. diagnose a disease
2. identify its cause
3. determine whether its curable
4. out line a course of treatment to cure it
