According to the title examiners I talked to this week, all they are doing is refi's. My title examiner indicator is very reliable. They know whether they are examining a title for the original owner or someone new.

As you know, I've been saying "NoVa is still going strong" for several months. But now I'm not saying that. Les posted yesterday a link about all the empty office space out in the Dulles corridor. That's where all the high tech companies are. Were.

It's a recession. No doubt about it. Only question is how long and how deep. I'm going to keep watching commercial paper outstandings. When they turn around, business is picking up.
