A year ago there was a discussion here about how to stop rabbits from attacking one's young fruit trees and some brilliant person said to plant a clove of garlic at the base of each tree - which is exactly what I did last September.

Not only are all my trees flourishing this year (including the many I had to replace) but I've got the strongest freshest garlic in all Chicago.

Thanks to the wise one - whoever it was.
