"So its best to base our valuations in terms of the PSR during past SEMI cycles. That was my basis why I thought them to be overvalued."

That's fine, but where are the quantitative comparisons of PSRs between semi companies and other techs? So far I haven't seen any. Sales forecasts are being reduced for all tech companies. What basis is there for believing that semis' sales will be reduced more than others? Remember, semi companies are very experienced at managing the effects of tech cycles, whereas many of the tech high flyers have not been around long enough to learn how to even survive a slowdown, let alone provide any meaningful guidance on future sales.
