O/T A few more of these scalpings and the really greedy may be burned enough to help establish the capitulation. Doc, I never looked at it that way, but I like your perspective<ggg> When I say "scalping", I'm actually using a trading term for a very short term trade held for part or all of a day. Long or short scalps are quick entries and exits in dangerous or fast markets... but I like your take. It couldn't be more apropos... I won't be surprised to see the market propped later today. In bear markets it's often common for these things to happen end of week. Plenty of news gaps to fill though<g> Have a great weekend, John
