You're right about the Fed being wrong, but they won't lower rates, because Alan has his head up his ass. The figures he relies on are not realtime, they are belated and don't tell the whole picture. I hear analysts and the Fed talking about a soft landing. That's a complete joke. This is a jump-off-the-Golden Gate Brige-and-land-on-a-passing-frigate hard landing. Alan needs to be deposed. His time is over and I don't think he should be replaced with another man, because I think the whole system is broken. One man should not have so much power that he can affect the entire economy like this. With all this technology at our disposal, you'd think computer engineers and economists could get together and automate the movement of the Fed Funds rate or something. Better yet, let it float free. I'd rather have volatile, supply and demand driven markets than inefficient one's driven by the whims of one man, who thinks he's teaching us a lesson on investing.

Rob, Coupled with every earnings warning/revenue shortfall seems to have layoffs attached to it.
