RE: Ottawa to legalize marijuana for severe arthritis I would encourage all to write your MP with this information. Regardless of your views on the legalization of marijuana (I know there are likely a few hippies at heart out there), this is an outrage! Ask your MP (no Jef, not military police) to provide the statistically significant clinical trial data that shows the safety and efficacy of marijuana to treat arthritis. Here we have a Canadian biotech/pharma that has developed one of the safest and most effective OA medications in the world, and our application is collecting dust at Health Canada, while they approve illegal narcotics with no data at all supporting its clinical benefits/risks. I'm sure the only efficacy evidence for marijuana is some long haired scientist at Health Canada taking a deep drag and exclaiming, "WHOA-MAC, this is good $hit!" Most seriously, joe
