Hi Mike. We seem to be on the same page.

And in a very distinct minority here.

As I said to Paul - and the thread - am in no way looking for a new Bull Market. But Bear Market rallies are tradable, and see no reason not to take advantage of those opportunities with a fraction of one's trading capital.

It's just important to adjust ones expectations, tactics and tools when in a Bear vs a Bull market. Some folks here have done an excellent job with that.

But perhaps, the most important thing I see missing on this and other web discussion forums is contributors don't include the holding period when they make a market comment. Heck, I'm as guilty as anyone else of that sometimes(g).

But as a result, position traders with a 1-6 wk window, 1-7 day ST traders and shorter term scalpers end up talking AT eachother rather than TO eachother. This IMO is the cause of a large %age of the friction that crops up - quite unnecessarily - on the various threads I read and post on.

Best regards
