Question to Californians:
Re CA governor's comments about biggest users of power paying the most:
Does this apply to your businesses (tech, film, etc) or only to home customers?
If it applies to businesses, will this be an incentive for tech industry, etc. to leave the state for better environments?

Just wondering if the 5th largest economy in the world is soon to lose that title . . . .

Vacation was good, thanks.....

Enhance shareholder value???

I think you mean...."stem the further erosion of shareholder value".....

Those 1000 shares of SCMR I didn't buy are a big relief right now....unfortunately everything I held is pretty close to being wallpaper.....Oh well.....there's always next decade. <g>

Hmmm...

Anyone ever hear of these guys before? They're offering trades at $2.99 per transaction, or a flat fee of $9.99 per month for unlimited trading. Seems to me I recall something about if it seems too good to be true...

The only reason I ask is that I had seen their banner ad on Motley Fool, and my first inclination was that this is something left over from April Fool's Day...

EDIT - That's strange... SI is removing the URL from this post on the preview... Well, I took out the "http://www." and it seems to show the rest, so you'll have to add it in yourself. No idea why SI has removed it though...
