The more I dialogue with conservatives, the more liberal I seem to get....There seems to be less critical thinking going on. Throw someone a few catchy phrases that they want to hear and that's all they need. They'll throw those phrases out over and over. jlallen is a good example; just repeats the same ol' non-substantive phrases. He's a graduate of Rushs' Radio School of Debate...the characteristic style of Rushs' debating style: What an idiot!..click.

I think it's somewhat revealing that if you were to check on something like Amazon.com for Rush books, you'll find that the formats of his literature stands out among other books....An audio tape version and a large print version. Says something about his following, I suppose.

OT: I've been to Canada on a couple of holidays and I agree with you on Quebec City, magnificent place. I do have a slight preference for Montreal, but that's because my French is very, very rusty. Just as it was beginning to come back it was time to leave. It's all gone again.

One of the holidays was a driving trip through Canada [from Maine] and up the Eastern coast of Quebec, Cape Breton and Prince Edwards. A geographical and cultural treat. Our other trip was off to Vancouver, not a bad place either. On the east coast, you've got the French and English influence and on the West Coast the Asian influence.

Dear Carl, Interesting, I lived near Montreal for a couple of years. This month my husband flies up to Quebec City.
I thought there would be snow and ice on the ground so I didn't make plans to go with him.
Do you think it wiill be cold with snow?

Thanks,

Mephisto

LOL!! Yep. You're a real conservative alright. How do I get a membership in Rush's army anyway. I keep hearing all the whiny liberals talking about it. It must be fun. JLA
