The price target should be $15, because that is what it is most likely to hit

No, this is the same analyst who initiated coverage in early March on Juniper with a price target of $43 back when the stock was trading higher than that. His rating was a 'hold', even though he was just initiating coverage. I was curious how any of his clients could 'hold' the stock if they hadn't yet purchased it, but he raised his rating from hold to strong buy last night after the stock closed at $37.16 and gave it a price target of $39 (down from the previous generous target of $43).

Hey, whatever....

LOL! With friends like him – who needs enemies?

Thanks for the checkered history. :o) Kind of like buying a home for a million with hopes and dreams of selling it for $750,000 if all goes as planned.

And why on earth would you hold a stock trading over its target price? You can make a case that all analysts are idiots, but for this guy it's particularly easy.

It seems pretty certain that JNPR won't warn. So will they miss? If they outperform expectations as they always have will the market care?
