Pete,

Sounds like Bush is suffering from the same syndrome as the last Texan in the White House.

Maybe he can start another Vietnam to save his wounded pride?

<Their own citizens would not want to give up the good life for some silly posturing.>

Pete, you're wrong about this - from the accounts I've heard. Tienamen Square is long gone. The youth is very upset over the incident. For the most part, college students in China are as demanding of an American apology as the government. Regardless of whether that is right or wrong, that is the way the feel.

Of course, I've gotten this information from that evil media, and worse, National Public Radio.

Dave

Pete, don't forget that Beijing also wants the 2008 Olympics. Seems like China has much more at stake here than America.
