MOT is a terribly managed company, Galvin is quite pathetic and even in the boom they were unable to really execute. In this enviroment MOT has no chance. If I were a BIG MOT shareholder Id want Galvins head. They screwed up the move from ANALOG to digital and then droped the ball in CDMA and GSM. Take a look at KYO/SAMSUNG/NOK and how much money they made the last few years and look at the debalicle that is MOTOROLLA. IRIDIUM baisicly wiped out their profits for the last 2 years and they have nothing new to show for it. The mismanagement at MOT is not unlike what occured at GM in the 70's or XRX. The companies that got buy in bullish times on easy money, LU, MOT, XRX were time bomb's because of terrible leadership. In bearish times they will be eaten alive.
