With an immediate reversal today, this is looking ugly. Hope you're not 'clown long' <g>

This is all of course speculation, but here's why things may just be as bad as they look: If we don't bottom within the next few weeks (which I still think we do), this could still only be phase 2 of the bear market in the major indices. The yr. 2000 as phase 1, The yr. 2001 would be phase 2, which means this phase would last another 6 months before we get a bottom to it. Then it goes lower STILL in 2002.

Pretty scary, but I think the odds are pretty good for this being phase 2 and not 3 if the market doesn't bottom within the next month.
