My latest modem adventure: My X2 external took a dirt nap, which I couldn't revive it from...SO I traveled to the local Circut City and found only one external modem available there...it's a 3Com/USR modem. The instructions are pure junk and no-way could someone install the thing following them. They're neat because you can watch a video on the CD showing you how to do it, but one problem is when I clicked on the external modem the video showed how to open the PC and insert the internal card...OOPS!! There's more, but nobody is here on this thread so why bother? <GG>
