Hi Atin, From the same article and pretty representative of my personal viewpoint: Maybe you'll want to assign less credibility to the Investors Intelligence sentiment index now that you know how it's done. But just as easily, you could say that, whatever its flaws, the index is probably reasonably consistent through time -- so the fact that the index is at 14-year bullish highs must stand on its own terms as an important technical signal. I take the index seriously. But at the same time, it's only one of many inputs. And virtually all of the others are telling me that sentiment is bearish, bearish, bearish. Bruce
