My peculiar stance is based on the fact that I do not consider countries or conceptual entities to hold rights. I believe that only the individual counts; Although, naturally, I recognize the pragmatic realities of countries, borders, etc. Your opinion is similar to my idea of countries not having a privileged moral position (if it is wrong for me to do X, it is wrong for a country to do X), but probably is a bit stronger, in the sense of going further.
