p.s. i bought newmont mines in the 16 to low 17 range and i've successfully sold out of the money calls on it for months now. do you think i'm doing a good thing or a bad thing here ?

comment i heard yesterday in a local bagel shop :

'i'm in a precarious position. i've got these mutual funds, i don't really know what i've got in them. but my new guy says not to worry.' i reply that i don't care if your guy is a new guy or an old guy, there is no good investment advice out there to be had.

i told him to buy some gold stocks but i know full well he will not do it. then (if) the gold stocks do well, he will actually think less of me.
