Dolinar.. Take a look at Taiwan. It is what China could have been had the communists not seized power and thrust it into cultural and economic chaos.

China could currently be the current major world economic in Asia, and not Japan (still #2 global economy). At least we had a measure of influence of Chiang Kai Shek and could have pressured him toward political plurality.

And the Chinese people have suffered as a result of this rule by octengenarian communists.

Oh and btw, neither extreme capitalism, nor communisim are attractive systems. The only difference between them is that with capitalism, man exploits man... and with communism, it's the other way around.

The only thing that truly matters is the existence of a democratic society where people have the equal opportunity to exploit their fellow man, and vice versa.
