polvie, This was our exact sentiment when we first visited. Too many retired folks who belong to all kinds of clubs, and groups who pass time by complaining about the lights over the local gas station. Composing letters, and forming committees to get action to stop the offensive lighting over that gas station. Then numerous get togethers to discuss the audacity of said lighting over gas station. It is a college town, and over here that means wild times. There, it is as quiet as Church during a funeral service. We did spend some time in Aba-Turkey, and Santa Fe, enjoyed the cities very much. I have family in El paso also. Seems all my kin moved down south. Is it me? Crepes....
