--You criticized Clinton over Serbia. I pointed out that he did much better than Bush/Powell. You changed the subject.--

no, the subject was peace under clinton's reign, and when pressed, you failed to make a good case for that.

it is quite telling that apparent clinton supporters such as yourself exhibit not the slightest bit of embarrassment or disappointment over the 300+ cruise missiles launched at iraq on what would have been impeachment day.

the only real point i'm trying to make is that this so-called 'peace' you talk about is an illusion; and it doesn't matter who the president is. the president is just a figurehead.

and the situation in the balkans is way more complicated than this discussion board would even warrant, though suffice it to say, the kla weren't necessarily the victims, nor were they the 'good guys.'

the struggles there amongst those groups go back hundreds of years, and everything has been distorted further by international meddling.

kaiser wilhelm had it right; 'the balkans are worth not a single pomeranian grenadier'

if you think what hitl... er clinton did in the balkans was peachy keen than there's no hope for you on that count.

i'll give you a clue; it's all about clearing the right of way for an oil pipeline, and keeping the heroin flowing freely.

see 'peace' is different than, 'no americans died.' unless of course you consider citizens of other countries to be something other than human.
