Cool. So much for simple theory, huh?

I use my cc for everything, pure convenience. Pay off always in full. Don't carry cash except for emergencies where plastic doesn't cut it.

Five years ago wouldn't have done that. Now don't care. Cash flow not an issue. My behavior has shifted to preference cc over cash especially in the past few years.

FWIW.

MM, Is there a transaction fee of any kind charged to the consumer for the use of credit/debit card?

(McDonalds in Seattle charges a 50 cent transaction fee, which just months ago was 75 cents. Of 4 coworkers that used plastic none noticed the fee till I pointed it out after we'd left. One thought I was lying. Even though a nice colorful sticker was on the handset.)

Very interesting stuff. Thanks for posting.

PS. If you're not charging any fees, J5P thanks you for your charity. <g>
