There is no "stalking" whatsoever, LG. If we were using real names and real places, making threats, and that kind of thing - none of which you have done to me, nor have I to you - I believe that stalking might be implicated. This is all just silly message board banter. I don't know, or care, about your historic dispute with CFZ - my differences with you arose in February, so a two year history of insults and the like means nothing to me. I have nothing to do with that. And that's a large part of why I'm saying, to hell with it. Banning people from your thread and making comments about them without their being able to address such in the immediate forum raises argumentative stakes to a higher level. But, given that that ability is given by administrators of the message boards, it's something that I guess has to be dealt with. I personally find moderated threads a silly concept: if some topic is so important that certain off topic or disagreed-with messages can't be posted there, it would seem far too crucial to leave to the whimsy of internet message boards. But, that's just my opinion. And I'm still convinced - and the evidence is rather weighty - that the scathing "ibg" character was you using an alias to say the things you didn't, or wouldn't, want associated with the LG alias. If you deny that...what can I say. A difference of opinion, it happens every day. I've never once posted anything about you of the type that you posted about me recently on Raging Bull. If you equate me calling you a "coward" an insult on par with the "p" word, well, what can I tell you? I think calling you a "coward" is far less an insult than the words you used for me recently, words which I personally don't mind. My personal ethics are: say anything you like about me, just say it where I can see it and where - if I desire - I can address it. It's a matter of my personal code of conduct, right or wrong. When you posted a message about me on the Crystal Ball some months ago, which an MDD poster kindly brought to my attention, you took the dispute - which I'd thought had kind of died down - to another level. *** We can go back and forth all day long. It gets us nowhere. Let's make an example to all on SI on what is in NYC an overcast early Saturday afternoon, beginning to turn sunny. As I indicated in the message, there's no implication of a surrender or any sort of weakness here. I'm acting of my own volition as I have from the start. There's no "trap," here. What do you say? I'm a stalker you say? roflmao! 1) what better example of a "stalker" than your use of "ibg" to harrass those with whom you had issues with ... 2) plus, you never answered the "LG, are these all coincidences" question that someone else posted to you. plus, you can't "stalk" an alias, especially in a virtual environment. no phone calls, no threatening emails, no threatening posts or PMs..."stalking" my arse..
