Moooooooooo!

I did it!

And I can close down those applications incredibly fast now! No more Control Alt Del for moi! I am SOOOOO happy I can't tell you.

I know you went to a lot of trouble to type out such long, detailed, explicit instructions. Thank you so much, I really don't take it for granted, it was a big favor; and thank you, mr. mark, too, for your help, and Dennis Murphy, too.

tc, these are the places I had some trouble in accomplishing the dual feat of installing WinZip and enditall. They're comical, really.

~ "After downloading you should right click the winzip80 file..." -- didn't, for a few panicked moments, mean anything to me. I mean, where the hell was the file, I didn't see no friggin' file. After I got the idea of doing a Seach for it and clicking on it after it showed up, that problem was solved. Same with enditall right clicking, except I knew how to find it this time.

~ "Now disable your screensaver if you have one..." -- I clicked on my screensaver, which is the amazing 3aline, and although there was the option to delete, there was no "disable." That was discouraging, but I was desultorily messaging with a friend, and asked him, "Would you by any chance know how to disable a screensaver?" and he wrote back, "start menu->settings->control panel->display->screen saver." (There was no disable option, but there was a list of screensavers and one of them was "none." Which worked.)

And that was it. Everything else was actually fun.

Amazing.

Thank you.

EDIT: I defragged with no problem and very quickly.
