Clint, One would expect the cancelations were overdone and a pickup will occur. However I'd guess pricing wil suffer as many with inventory and those teetering on the edge will sell at cost or less just to get cash flow. from NYT article.. "When computer makers and distributors find themselves holding excess inventories of components, these companies will sell the parts to overseas wholesalers and other parties at a discount. Subsequently, these parts return to North America and sell for less than the parts coming out of the factory. Authorized dealers then have to cut prices further. " In the SAN list (brcd, emlx, ntap, emc, mcdt, zoox, adic,....) which might have the least inventory, demand, continue to command the highest margins, and nearly debt free? Jim

Hi Clint, how is the booking rate ? If there is not much booking, the cancellation/push out's rate would be obviously better. As far IT implementation of major ERP/B2B space there is evidently no pickup as far as Indian IT companies are concerned. WIT and INFY are slashing cost/institutnig hiring freeze etc. One of the managers was really worried sick about the next 6 months as he doesn't have any project! Jim, BTW some of the PIGS are those who haven't returned to 98 prices. Right now I can think of INFY,SEBL,VSTR + most of the semi equip (AMAT). Later, Suresh
