That is very very interesting, Allan. I do wish you'd fudged the data a wee bit so I could trade with it, though, dammit!

I haven't read the CFZ since you posted this, so I'm not caught up with the discussion there yet, but it strikes me that this degree of volatility is typical of a bear market, no?

Also, I've noticed (anecdotally only) a huge recent surge in the same phenomenon in the Dow.
