Forgiving Victims vs. Forgiving Lovers...

>>Well you can take that a step further by saying there is nothing to forgive Clinton for (your example) because he certainly didn't rape either one of us. To be in a perpetual state of forgiveness you must be a perpetual victim. How an actual victim forgives someone is the sole right of the victim, not the perpetrator, not the observer.>>

When you love there's never any end to the wellspring of forgiveness. The cheek turns the other way again, again and again. For all the lover cares about is the joy and well being of others, even more than him/herself.

If this makes God a perpetual victim, then I think He's big enough to handle it. And if He is, so are you, I and all of us...with His help, spirit, energy and love filling the void of course.

The one who loves isn't a victim. for he/she wouldn't have it any other way as the expression of pure Love, by definition, is totally FREE and unconditional.

And don't look upon God as a victim. By default this makes yourself a victim for you, too, come from - are part of - Him.

Peace.
