The cheek turns the other way again, again and again. For all the lover cares about is the joy and well being of others, even more than him/herself. If this makes God a perpetual victim, then I think He's big enough to handle it. And if He is, so are you, I and all of us...with His help, spirit, energy and love filling the void of course. The one who loves isn't a victim. for he/she wouldn't have it any other way as the expression of pure Love, by definition, is totally FREE and unconditional. And don't look upon God as a victim.
